Has anyone been able to run NetBotz Advanced View on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine? I can get portions to run but when accessing some areas such as alerts view or sensor pod configuration, there is an "unexpected error" and the program shuts down. I have re-installed Advanced View 2.6.2 and the latest 64-bit Java install. I have also tried configuring AV to run in compatability mode with the same result. Below the the resulting AV log:

2010-01-28 13:37:54,490 AWT-EventQueue-0 ERROR com.netbotz.gui.AWTExceptionHandler - An unexpected error has occurred! Exiting application.
Please save your client log (from C:\Users\xxxxx\.netbotz\logs\av.txt) and contact support.

dvestal,

AV 2.6.2 is not compatible with Windows 7. You could try thre updated version of the AV which is 3.2.1. I know this version supports Vista, but I am not sure about Windows 7.

You can get the latest version here: http://updates.apc.com/botz/av/install.htm

I have managed to get both Advanced View 1 and 2 to work on Win7 Professional. Install a shortcut on the desktop, then change the shortcut properties so that the program runs in compatibility mode. I found Win2000 the best(95/98/XP etc wouldn't show the tabs properly).

AV1.3.10 is handy for my NB400C (which is also shared on a NB500). Careful installation lets you run the earlier Java

AV2.6.2 is used for NB320/420/500.

Both run happily individually or together on a Win7 desktop. Didn't know about AV3, downloading it now.......

Further to my previous post. AV3.2.1 works a dream on my Win7 (64). It even inherited all my AV2.6.2 settings. Just tried Av1.3 again and it still works together with AV3.2.1, albeit putting the desktop into compatibility mode whilst it's running.
